Personality:Barren is a happy faced drinking fool. Almost no one drinks like he does. He's the best drinker and the luckiest betting man on the ship he works on. Barren's extremely nice to almost everyone. In some ways hes pretty white knight status. But he can be a reckless with his fun. Sometimes he doesn't think all to well. But he gets along really well with Pokemon and humans alike. Though it should be noted that he is quite shy around women. Especially extremely feminine women. He seems to be better with rougher tomboyish girls but not by much. The one thing about Barren is that he can be a tad ferocious when mad. He's been known to destroy crates and tables with his mere fists when angered. Thought not many things will provoke him to such anger. Most likely or not Barren will fight for a friend or someone in need even if he were to become extremely hurt.
History:Barren use to work with this father as a jr blacksmith until he passed away. It wasn't until later he decided to leave for Onerios to become a Privateer. On his journey he met a Old Swampert in terrible danger. It Arm was stuck in a boulder while it's mudkip children and what was believe it's young spouce were in great danger. There had been some sort of Rock slide around their Nest. Barren offered to help save the Father first but it roar as it was pleading to save it's children and mate first. Barren did everything he could to save it's family, breaking his Blacksmith Hammer to crush through the rocks. It was the only thing left he had to remember his Father. When the Swampert's family had been released, the Father was far too weak to go on. It was then and there, Barren decided to become a host for the swampert spirit to live on in. Before doing so, His Mate hugged him good bye and carry their children to a safer location.
